Moratorium:
Based on the National Hurricane Center’s most recent forecast for Hurricane Milton, Carolina Casualty Insurance Company is placing a moratorium on binding any new exposures in Florida for auto physical damage coverage and motor truck cargo for all in-force accounts and new business submissions, effective 1:00 EST, Monday, October 7, 2024. This moratorium will remain in effect until after the storm passes and the company lifts the suspension. This change does not affect the ability to bind and endorse auto liability and general liability coverages. Carolina Casualty has mobilized resources and stands ready to support our Distribution partners and Insureds that the storm may impact.
